When Tony Romo went down this past preseason, Dallas fans were forced to come to terms with the high probability that the Romo Era was over.
Well, No. 9 announced on April 4 that he is leaving the NFL and will be an analyst for CBS.
While Romo has been consistently criticized for his injury-plagued career and lack of playoff success, no one has thrown as many touchdowns or for as much yardage as good ole No. 9.
The city of Dallas thanked Romo in grand fashion paying homage with a skyline tribute highlighted with the “9” on the side of Dallas’ Omni Hotel.
Romo has purposely avoided using the word “retire” but it’s more than certain that we have seen him in a Dallas uniform for the last time.
