Efforts are currently underway to rescue 24 people who are stuck on the Joker’s Jinx roller coaster at Six Flags in Bowie Maryland.
According to FOX 5 News, the coaster stalled 100 feet in the air at a 30-degree angle. Riders are being urged to remain calm while emergency personnel work diligently to rescue them.
This isn’t the first time the coaster experienced technical difficulties trapping riders. According to FOX, the ride became stuck in about the same position in 2014. The park attributed the malfunction to the coaster’s launch mechanism.
