One way or another, there will be a fight.
In a quick interview with Bob Arum, Manny Pacaquiao’s promoter tells TMZ Sports that Pacquiao would fight Conor McGregor if Floyd Mayweather doesn’t agree to terms on the proposed super fight.
Sources say that Floyd hasn’t said whether the fight will happen for sure but both camps have discussed the possibilities. With such a highly anticipated fight, and Conor taking jabs at Mayweather in the media fans are ready to see these two in the ring.
With an open schedule, after his next scheduled title fight against Australian underdog Jeff Horn in Brisbane on July 1st. Manny’s promoter Arum hints that the McGregor fight can be arranged.
Per Scott Gleeson of USA Today, Mayweather has set up to meet with Haymon and Mayweather Promotions CEO Leonard to work out the full details of the McGregor fight.
McGregor, 28, has come to terms with UFC on a fight against Mayweather – the first step in what fans hope would be a blockbuster cross-sport showdown.
Arum says, ” Manny is actually ready to PUNCH, mentioning that after Pac Man’s July 1 fight is done, they’re totally game.”
The undefeated Mayweather has previously hinted that a McGregor fight is the only logical option for him, but hasn’t been as vocal since McGregor signed on the dotted line.
