LeBron James is very confident heading into his NBA Finals rematch against the Warriors and he is not shy about saying it. LeBron already took down the 73 win Warriors after over-coming a 3-1 series deficit, and now his next challenge will be defeating roughly the same team plus the addition of Kevin Durant.
LeBron is still the best player in the world and the Cavs are healthy, so he gave this response to reporters when asked about Cleveland’s chances.

LeBron is confident like a defending champion should be, but don’t mistake it for over confidence. He showed how much he respects the Warriors with the following quote:
“I’ve played against four Hall of Famers as well, too, with Manu (Ginobili), Kawhi (Leonard), Tony (Parker) and Timmy D (Tim Duncan) on the same team,” said James, occasionally sniffling as he continues to fight a cold. “And if you add Pop (coach Gregg Popovich) in there, that’s five Hall of Famers. So, it’s going to be very challenging. Those guys are going to challenge me, they’re going to challenge our ballclub.
“This is a high-powered team.”
The Curry-Durant Warriors are a lethal basketball team and it will take a herculean effort from LeBron and all of the Cavs to beat the Warriors. It’s fitting that the Cavaliers are the only team capable of beating the Warriors and we get to watch it all unfold during the NBA Finals.
