This is dope.
Earlier this month, the hashtag #KylesWish went viral with the goal of helping 19-year-old Kyle Osborne, who has a rare form of cancer, meet LeBron James.
With the King usually going black during the playoffs, the wish was deemed impossible by some, but as Kevin Garnett can attest, anything is possible.
In early May, LeBron’s foundation sent Kyle a gift box filled with Cavaliers jerseys, posters, coffee mug a set of Beats headphones and other great gifts.
Laura Onorato, a physician’s assistant who helped jump-start the #KylesWish campaign, felt Kyle should get more than box.
“Kyle’s been dealt a (expletive) hand,” she said. “He doesn’t deserve to be given just a box.”
A Special Wish Foundation got involved, setting up a trip to Cleveland for Kyle and his family to enjoy box seats for Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Finals against the Boston Celtics, a hotel room, limousine and other luxuries.
Kyle also got a short meet and greet with the King as well.
