The NBA Draft is in full swing and the New York Knicks did what they have always done under Phil Jackson and picked another foreign player, France’s Frank Ntilikina. Usually, NBA teams are focused on the draft from ownership downward but James Dolan had other important events to attend, namely performing with his band at a rock concert. Dolan took some time to explain why he was not attending the NBA Draft during his set.
"We didn't PLAN to have this concert on the same night as the NBA draft, for those of you wondering" says James Dolan the night of the draft pic.twitter.com/cLa7INH2Nf

As the night progressed things started to get a bit weird for concert goers as Dolan had to deal with some boos for some alleged terrible singing.
Here is the play by play:
Two guys just got kicked out of the James Dolan concert for yelling "You're a terrible singer! How do you have a job singing for a band?"

They kept going as they were escorted out. "I want my money back! Don't quit your day job! Seriously your voice is awful!"

Dolan stares at them, laughs into the mic, and goes, "Okay let's just keep going. You guys like Johnny Cash?"

Yes, that is correct. Two fans told James Dolan to not quit his day job as owner of the Knicks on draft night while at a strange mid-life crisis rock concert. The Knicks off-season is off to a rousing start with Phil Jackson looking to trade Kristaps Porzingis while passing on Dennis Smith, and now we have the Dolan concert for our amusement.
As for the rest of Dolan’s performance, things got a bit strange as the show progressed. Flip the page to see Dolan’s “persona change” that he made to sing a song called “Bally Hoo.” I can’t wait to see the Knicks call for a “Bally Hoo” play out of a timeout next season.
