A Florida resident, frustrated with AT&T work trucks parking in front of his home, took matters into his own hands in a way that will more than likely guarantee they won’t ever park there again.
The Miami Herald reports that Jorge Jove of Hialeah exited his home with a revolver after seeing an AT&T van parked in font of his home. Reportedly frustrated with the number of times the cable provider parked there, he began shooting out the tires.
The unidentified AT&T employee who parked the truck captured cell phone footage from the scene showing Jove circling the van and shooting. In the video you can hear the man giving a dispatcher a full play-by-play of what was taking place.
“He’s shooting the truck right now,” said a man who identified himself as Derrick Taylor, a technician with AT&T. “There’s a guy shooting the tires and shooting the engines and everything.”
“Apparently the homeowner was upset the trucks were parked in front of his driveway,” said Hialeah Sgt. Carl Zogby in an email to Miami Herald.
