Derek Loville has learned of his fate following his involvement in drug trafficking and its not looking too pretty. The former NFL player will serve 15-months in jail.
Easy money is never the way out and that’s a lesson that Derek Loville will learn the hard way. The 48-year-old ex-NFL player will be serving 15-months in jail after he was found guilty of drug trafficking. The ironic thing of all this is that he was fined only $5,000.
Via Kristina Davis of the San Diego Union-Tribune, Loville has been sentenced to 15 months for his connection to the drug ring led by Owen Hanson, a walk-on tight end at USC in 2004 whose football career went nowhere — but whose criminal enterprise became fairly large, before it all fell apart.
Loville, who also won three Super Bowls, will probably leave someone in charge of his rings while he is away.
