USC has a lot of famous football alums and OJ Simpson is one that they proudly display on campus. His jersey is retired, his Heisman is on display and you can spot his accomplishments all around the campus.
OJ himself though has been banned from the school.
O.J. Simpson’s alma mater, USC, will officially not allow him back on campus when he is released from prison and becomes a free man in October.
“Right now with USC, what the administration and the athletic department have said is, no, O.J. will not be a part of our functions,” USC head football coach Clay Helton said Thursday.
Though Simpson won’t physically be allowed back at USC, the school still honors him in more than one way.
O.J.’s number 32 is retired and displayed prominently during USC home games at the Coliseum and his 1968 Heisman Trophy award is on campus.
Cold world.
