Today served as yet another reminder that athleticism runs in the Johnson family. Chad Johnson’s daughter, Cha’iel, did just that by blowing past her competition on her way to not only winning the 800 meters race comfortably, but also earning a new US record for girls.
It happened at the Amateur Athletic Union Track and Field National Club Championship, where Cha’iel ran a record time of 2:14:80. A time close to five full seconds quicker than her Gold Medal performance at the Junior Olympics in 2016.
Chad Johnson was extremely proud of his daughter’s quick performance, but couldn’t attend the race per TMZ. Johnson also praised his daughter’s post win chest thumping celebration to emphasize her domination. The celebration can be seen on the video.
