TMZ Sports caught up with Dwyane Wade arriving at LAX after an extended european vacation. With all the scuttlebutt around the Kyrie Irving trade and the possible Wade buyout from the Bulls, rumors are swirling about LeBron and Wade potentially teaming up again. Wade said he and Bron will have dinner this week but didn’t go into any details.
Bron and Wade are very close friends so dinner is not out of the ordinary. As to whether the two will be reuniting, anything is possible. Ultimately it really depends on Wade’s willingness to accept a diminished role. Bron is chasing greatness and wants to secure more championships. Wade already has three and is past his prime. He would no longer be on the same playing level as Bron. Is he willing to take a lesser role? Also, is he looking for more financial security? Bron can afford to continually sign one year max deals as the league’s best player, Wade can’t. Is Bron staying long term in Cleveland or is he LA bound next season?
These are all questions Wade needs answers to, and of course, does Bron want to play with him again and vice versa.
