Browns head coach Hue Jackson made it clear that he didn’t want his players participating in any type of anthem protest, but that clearly went to deaf ears on Monday Night Football.
Punter Britton Colquitt also out his hand on one of his teammates’ shoulders who was kneeling. This show of support is becoming more prevalent at NFL games, and is huge in the effort to combat racism and inequality for black people and other minority groups.
