The toxicology report detailing the drugs in Tiger Woods’ system during his arrest in May was picked up by multiple media outlets and released today. There were five drugs in Woods’ system at the time of the arrest, leading to him falling asleep behind the wheel.
Woods pled guilty to reckless driving and agreed to enter a diversion program that will allow him to have his record wiped clean if he completes the program.
There were two prescription strength pain killers, two prescription strength sleep aids, and a prescription strength muscle relaxer. Woods has had multiple back and knee surgeries throughout his career and likely got addicted to these medications as a way to cope with the pain. He released a statement in June saying he completed treatment in a clinic.
