After losing his final 100m dash race to U.S. sprinter Justin Gatlin, Usain Bolt took the track at the World Championships today hoping to win one more gold medal for Jamaica.
It was not to be as Bolt pulled up with an injury far from the finish line. As expected, Bolt got the baton behind Great Britain and the USA before pulling up.
Great Britain came away with the gold as the US settled for silver.
Eventually Bolt did cross the finish line to well deserved applause. The Jamaican concludes his career with 11 World Championships gold medals.
