The Nationals ended up winning the game but Giancarlo Stanton continues to win. Tonight, he hit his 53rd home run of the season. But, that home run also caused some damages as it broke a TV camera worth $50,000.
The wind up, the pitch and bam-that one’s out of here! Giancarlo Stanton continues to shine through and we’re still wondering why he’s in a Marlins uniform. Stanton is chasing history as he hit his 53rd home run. But, as one reporter pointed out, his home run also shattered a camera worth $50,000.
Stanton destroyed a $50,000 TV camera lens and ripped off a foot-long panel of metal camera casing with his 53rd homer.

This camera will probably be auctioned off somehow.
