It appears that Jay-Z and Kanye West are ready to settle their differences. According to sources close to TMZ, Jay-Z and Kanye plan to meet face to face and settle their ongoing beef and likely their $3.5 million Tidal lawsuit.
“Sources close to Yeezy and Hova with direct knowledge of the situation tell us, their lawyers have been trying to settle a $3.5 million dispute Kanye has with Tidal. As we reported, Kanye had fired off a letter to Tidal stating his contract with them was over because Tidal didn’t live up to his end of the bargain. Specifically, Kanye says he didn’t get advances and bonuses that totaled $3.5 million”
According to TMZ, their beef has nothing to do with the $3.5 million lawsuit, but personal issues between the two they are trying to resolve. The $3.5 million is small change to both, and the only reason the lawsuit hasn’t been settled to this point is because of their personal dispute.
As one source put it, “The Generals [Kanye and Jay] have to meet face-to-face. When that happens, the resolving the money dispute is a piece of cake.”
Jay-Z said on 4:44, nobody wins when the family feuds, so their beef may finally come to an end.
