Former New York Giants kicker Josh Brown who is a free agent is being suspended an additional six games according to ESPN, after his domestic violence ban.
Last season, Brown was suspended one game but NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell said, the investigation remained open.
Confirmed to ESPN in a text.
“We reopened the investigation based on new info,” the NFL, which has yet to release its findings. Concluded there was a violation of our personal conduct policy and imposed 6 game suspension which he accepted without appeal.”
In 2015 Brown appeared on “Good Morning America” said he never laid hands on his then-wife Molly Brown, but didn’t argue his case for being violent towards her.
Brown said,
“I mean I had put my hands on her, “I kicked the chair. I held her down. The holding down was the worst moment in our marriage.”
Brown continued,
“I never hit her. I never slapped her. I never choked her,” I never did those types of things.”
