Colin Kaepernick’s attorney Mark Geragos has released a statement clearly detailing why they have filed suit against the NFL. As you know, Kap has been blackballed by the NFL since he started his protest during the national anthem last season. The NFL and its owners have since colluded to keep Kap from playing. Essentially choosing to respect the feelings of the racist segment of their collective fan bases over wining actual football games. Denying Kap and other players’ freedom to protest, as afforded by the Constitution and fought for by the armed forces. You know, that same group those opposed to protests say are being disrespected…

Yahoo’s Charles Robinson via Twitter has highlighted the crux of the grievance filed, including blackballing and saying owners were pressured by Donald Trump. This lawsuit is huge and has the potential to rock the league if it makes it’s way to the highest courts.
