Michael Jordan Explains Is His Concern About The “Super Team” Era & How It Makes Others Garbage

Michael Jordan gave his thoughts about NBA super teams. He says that it hurts the league but did the NBA hurt when he won 6 rings in the 90s?

Jordan gave an interview with Cigar Aficionado and here’s what he said via Ben Golliver of SI.

“I think it’s going to hurt the overall aspect of the league from a competitive standpoint,” “You’re going to have one or two teams that are going to be great, and another 28 teams that are going to be garbage. Or they’re going to have a tough time surviving in the business environment.”

By the way NBA ratings are set up, fans are ok with this. When Jordan was dominating people watched, when LeBron went to Miami people watched and when KD went to GS, people watched and will continue to.

As much as it’s about what’s on the floor, the NBA is filled with soap opera drama that’ll keep people tuned in.

  1. People who draft poorly can’t complain. GS wasn’t a free agency destination until they drafted well and started winning. Honestly unless you are winning players are not going to a team because its in LA or NY.
