The NFL is currently holding the annual fall meeting this afternoon. In the meeting, NFL owners and players will be in attendance to discuss ways the league could support players efforts on social issues. As many know by now the president Donald Trump voiced his opinion about players kneeling and it set off fireworks across the NFL. Now as the meeting is being held there about 15 or so protesters outside of the NFL building, kneeling, and with signs. Some of the signs read “take a knee against police brutality” other signs read “take a knee against racism”.
Here are some notable players who attended the meeting, and most noticeably, Colin Kaepernick is not in attendance.
Anquan Boldin, retired
Darius Butler, Indianapolis Colts
Russel Okung, Los Angeles Chargers
Kenny Stills, Miami Dolphins
Julius Thomas, Miami Dolphins
Michael Thomas, Miami Dolphins
Mark Herzlich, New York Giants
Kelvin Beachum, New York Jets
Demario Davis, New York Jets
Malcolm Jenkins, Philadelphia Eagles
Chris Long, Philadelphia Eagles
Eric Reid, San Franscisco 49ers
Josh Norman, Washington Redskins

Hopefully the NFL and the players can come to some sort of agreement, as this is the first positive step they have taken to solve this problem together as one.
