Things continue to crumble for the Cleveland Browns. With a winless record through 6 games another season is already lost, and with each impressive performance from Deshaun Watson, it’s clear they should have drafted him.
Now comes some off-filed issues with wide receivers Kenny Britt and Corey Coleman, who were sent home after missing curfew last week. Both players are recovering from injuries and would have not have played against Houston last week, but were sent home anyway for breaking curfew rules.
Kenny Britt has been a huge disappointment since signing a four-year $32.5 million contract in the offseason, and Corey Coleman has been placed on IR after breaking his hand for the second consecutive year. Now the Browns appear to be in disarray both on and off the field, which doesn’t bode well for Hue Jackson. Hue Jackson has led the Browns to victory just once in his 22 games as head coach, and any perception of a team that is out of control will not help his chances of sticking around for another season. It will be interesting to see if the Browns place the blame squarely on Jackson, given the poor draft choices during his tenure.
