Tyrese tried to do some damage control after revealing it was his medication; Rexulti causing his very public social media breakdowns, however; the fallout from the concerning videos may have hurt his court case more than previously thought.
Page Six is reporting the singer’s attorney, Terry Levich Ross, has filed paperwork to get himself removed from the case; which leaves Tyrese to either find another attorney, or possibly represent himself:
A source close to the ongoing legal battle between Tyrese and ex-wife Norma Gibson confirmed to Page Six on Monday that Tyrese’s lawyer, Terry Levich Ross, is no longer representing the actor after Ross filed for a substitution of attorney.
Tyrese and Norma are expected at another hearing Tuesday, and our source said it wouldn’t “be a surprise” if the “Fast & Furious” franchise star appears with a new attorney. But, as of now, Tyrese will act as his own lawyer.
His ex, Norma Gibson is currently trying to get sole custody of their 10-year-old daughter as well as get a permanent restraining order against him, after accusing him of abuse.
The abuse charges were dropped, but questions remain about Tyrese’s mental state, & with his lawyer dropping him, it probably wouldn’t be the best look for him to represent himself.
