The Miami Dolphins are trying to build toward bettering their community, getting more involved and starting a Social Justice Fund.
Earlier today, in a press release owner Stephen Ross and the organization introduced the creation of a yearly fund for advocacy and social justice programs, according to a release from the organization.
A select amount of social justice programs in the community will receive support from the franchise in 2017-18. Programs such as: The Social Justice Grant Program, Project Change Scholarship, Police Athletic League of North Miami, and 5000 Role Models. Along with the Miami Dolphins Police and Youth Conference, RISE Leadership Programs, CommUNITY Tailgate and Unity Day.
The Miami Dolphins oragnization is the first NFL team to do so. Let’s see how many other teams will take the same route.
