How a Browns Fan Got a Permit for a Parade if Team Goes 0-16; Check Out His Facebook Page

The Browns have for a long time been recognized as the biggest joke in the NFL and their fans know it. One fan in particular has decided that instead of wallowing in sorrow, he is going to celebrate the tragedy that is know as the Cleveland Browns season. Browns fan Chris McNeil has obtained a permit to hold a parade around First Energy Stadium if the team completes their “perfect season” and finish 0-16.

McNeil obtained this permit last year as well, but unfortunately due to a victory over the Chargers the Browns fans were unable to hold their parade. McNeil has gone all out for this parade, going as far as making a Facebook event as well as a GoFundMe to help with expenses.

On the GoFundMe page McNeil says:

I urge you to come out on January 6th to show your support for our owner, Jimmy Haslam, and his entire front office for the product they put on the field every Sunday (not Monday night, of course, because we aren’t good enough to get that slot). We will parade around First Energy Stadium and culminate with a post-party at a soon to be determined location.

On the Facebook page he says:

Celebrating perfection from the team that has given us nothing to celebrate since 1999. Here we go again ?

Let’s all hope that the Browns are able to complete their winless season so their fanbase will finally be able to have the parade they so badly deserve. For more information, or to sign up to be part of the parade, head over to official parade website.
