Ice Cube’s BIG3 Basketball League to Air Games Live on FOX & FS1 Next Season

Changes are coming for Ice Cube’s BIG3. The 3on3 professional league coming off a successful inaugural season announced games will now be broadcast live on FS1 and FOX. Games will also be played on Friday evenings this season, last season games were played on Sunday afternoons.

Obviously the fans expressed interest in seeing live action on tv as last year’s championship game was televised live but regular season games aired on tape delay Monday evenings. FOX Sports President John Entz said:

Following the success of FOX Sports’ live broadcast of last season’s BIG3 championship game, we knew we wanted to expand that live access for basketball fans throughout the season. We’re thrilled to continue to grow our partnership with the BIG3, and we look forward to another season of exciting basketball with some of the most recognized athletes in the game.

Each week, the BIG3 will play four games back-to-back on Friday evenings, three of which will be broadcast live by FOX Sports and streamed concurrently on FOX Sports GO. The league tips off on Friday June 22nd on FS1 from 7:30 to 10:30 PM ET.
