Kareem Abdul-Jabbar on LiAngelo Ball Riding Around UCLA Campus in His Ferrari Being Disgusting (Video)

Kareem Abdul-Jabbar is not impressed with LiAngelo Ball riding around the hallowed grounds of UCLA in a luxury vehicle.

During an appearance on The Herd, Abdul-Jabbar says he doesn’t care for a freshman driving around campus in a luxury vehicle because it sets a bad precedent for the school and it’s disgusting.

“This is disgusting. I don’t like that. It sets a bad precedent for what the school is supposed to be about and what our basketball program is supposed to be about.”

Abdul-Jabbar did not however have the same energy for Ball’s recent arrest in China.

“I think they deserve a chance to redeem themselves, but they have to redeem themselves.

It’s not gonna just be words. They have to go out and prove it, go to class, show some character. That’s what I would like to see.”

On the scale of basketball, college students in luxury cars sets a bad precedent but stealing in a foreign country is within the scope of redemption.
