ABC Explains Why They Cancelled Ayesha Curry’s Cooking Show Because A Judge Was A Creeper; Why They Didn’t Just Replace The Judge

Ayesha Curry has been one of the most popular names among cooking moguls and her talents earned her a show on ABC called ‘The Great American Baking Show.’ One episode has been aired but after sexual misconduct allegations surfaced against Judge Johnny Iuzzini, the show has been cancelled.

ABC released a statement on these allegations and felt that it was in the best interest of their company.

“In light of allegations that recently came to our attention, ABC has ended its relationship with Johnny Iuzzini and will not be airing the remainder of ‘The Great American Baking Show’ episodes. ABC takes matters such as those described in the allegations very seriously and has come to the conclusion that they violate our standards of conduct,” the network said in a statement”

The Great Christmas Light Fight and CMA Country Christmas will be the shows that will replace Curry’s. The cancellation of Curry’s show seems like a bad move as a whole as the judge could have been replaced and the success of the program would’ve continued.

  • The real reason is not enough people tuned in to watch it.They can say it was the Judge, but it was really the ratings or lack thereof.
