A Southern California police officer has been placed on paid leave after being arrested for stealing hundreds of thousands of dollars from the elderly.
ABC 7 News reports that Rock Wagner, an Officer with the Laguna Beach Police Department, was arrested by Fullerton Police along with his sister and live-in boyfriend on suspicious of elder abuse and fraud.
As details continue to emerge, Sgt. Jon Radus of the Fullerton police department told ABC that there is more than one alleged victim, and they are related to the suspects, who are not accused of any physical abuse.
All three suspects have been released after posting bail. In addition to the police investigation for the alleged crimes, Wagner is currently being investigated by the Laguna Beach PD internal affairs division.
