Eric Dickerson is arguably the best athlete to ever suit up in an LA Rams uniform. He also had beef between former Rams coach Jeff Fisher in 2016 in which he said he wouldn’t come to any more Rams home games if he is still the head coach.
Dickerson has now responded to claims by Jeff Fisher of claiming credit for the Rams’ current success and that he left the team in good shape. The Rams are now NFC West division champions and are playoff bound for the first time since 2003.
Per TMZ.com, Dickerson believes that he left the defense in good shape but did nothing to improve the offense or the team overall.
“Let’s put it like this here. I always say look at your record. Did he leave the Rams in pretty good shape? He left our defense in pretty good shape. Offense? No.” said Dickerson. “I’m not big on talking bad about a person when they can’t defend themselves. But do I think he left the team in a good spot? No! I do not.”
Dickerson praised the success of the team towards first-year head coach Sean McVay. He was impressed by the way he brought in key players such as Robert Woods and Sammy Watkins along with developing Jared Goff.
