The annual December release of an Air Jordan 11 will happen this weekend with the release of the “Win Like 96” colorway. The all-red colorway celebrates the 1996 Chicago Bulls, similar to the “Win Like 82” 11s that honored Michael Jordan winning the 1982 title game with UNC.
Here’s more info about the shoe, via Nike:
The 1996 Chicago team took the league by storm. After a disappointing second-round playoff exit the year before, they posted 72 wins to break the regular season record en route to their fourth championship. MJ was in front; the Air Jordan XI was on feet. Now it returns in a brilliant red colorway, flashing classic patent leather in a bold salute to Chicago’s ’96 winning ways.
As one of the top releases for this month, this sneaker is very likely to sell out. They will be releasing on Saturday, December 9 for for $220 retail in mens sizes. It also comes in full family sizing. They will release online at 10 a.m. at most of the Jordan Brand retailers.
