Isaiah Thomas was traded from the Celtics to the Cavs in August in a blockbuster trade for Kyrie Irving. Many people felt that Thomas was done wrong by the Celtics organization as a result of the effort he gave in the 2017 playoffs. He played despite losing his sister to a tragic car accident.
Isaiah Thomas was recently asked what the reaction in Boston should be when the Cavs travel to Boston to take on the Celtics. Thomas believes that he should get shown love back.
Per Bleacher Report,
“It better be good, said Thomas.” “I gave my heart to that city and they showed genuine love back.”

Thomas is expected to return from injury shortly after the new year but is not definite if he will play vs Boston. The Cavs will face the Celtics on January 3.
