LaVar Ball on LiAngelo Playing in China and How the Chinese Would Love to Have Him Back (Video)

LiAngelo Ball’s career at UCLA is over before it could even begin.

The loquacious LaVar Ball pulled his middle son from the university after he was suspended indefinitely for shoplifting in China during a team trip.

Although the younger Ball and two of his teammates faced up to 10 years in prison after being accused of shoplifting Louis Vuitton sunglasses, LaVar insists the Chinese would love to have his son playing in their country.

TMZ Sports caught up with LaVar and LiAngelo at LAX:

“Of course! Why not?!” LaVar said, when we asked if China would welcome Gelo back. “They would be happy to have him.”

LiAngelo wouldn’t comment on a possible China reunion … but quietly told us he’s ready to take his talents overseas.
