LeBron James and the Cavs earned a 121-112 victory over the Lakers in Cleveland last night and it was a regular night at the office for James. He posted a triple-double with 25 points, 12 rebounds and 12 assists. Lonzo Ball had a double-double for the Lakers as he put up 13 points, 11 assists and eight rebounds.
As the game ended, James and Ball had a conversation in which they both had their jerseys covering their mouths so the media couldn’t see and hear what the topic was.
ESPN.com confirmed what was said between the two through a Reddit.com user who posted a transcript of the conversation.
“Find your zone and just stay f—–g locked in,” said James. “The media is going to ask you what I told you right now. Tell them nothing. Just be aggressive every single day. It’s white noise to you. That’s all it is. All right? Let’s go.”
When reporters asked James to tell them what was said between the two in the postgame press conference, he said that it was none of their business. Ball also followed James’ lead as he told the media that he didn’t tell him anything when he was asked about the conversation by reporters.
