Recently Rangers pitcher Cole Hamels and wife Heidi did something pretty nice. They donated their mansion for children with special needs and chronic illnesses according to ESPN.
The mansion was sold last Friday, and the reason behind it was Cole & his wife wanted to make children’s dreams come true.
“Seeing the faces, hearing the laughter, reading the stories of the kids they serve; there is truly nothing like it,” he said in the statement. “Barnabas makes dreams come true, and we felt called to help them in a big way.”
Well dreams are definitely coming true after such a kind act. It’s not everyday mansions are being donated to charities for kids. Huge shout out to Cole Hamels & Heidi for this kind act.
