During Sunday’s contest with the Seattle Seahawks vs the Dallas Cowboys, it seemed the Seahawks had a chip on their shoulder. Plenty of the Seahawks defenders heard rumblings that Ezekiel Elliot made a bet with one of the NFL’s best RB Eric Dickerson that upon his return he would rush for 200 yards.
Seahawks defensive linemen Frank Clark said
“Oh yeah, we heard about that.”
Also hearing about the bet was linebacker Bobby Wagner. Wagner seemed more ticked off about the bet and said
“He had that bet, we wanted to make sure he didn’t win it.”
Although Zeke did have a good game, 97 yards on 22 carries he did fall short of the 200-yard game by 103 yards. He now owes Eric Dickerson a game-worn jersey as part of his debt for losing the bet.
