A couple of things I want to make clear, I have no beef with Katie Nolan, and I am a big fan of Deus & Mero. What Nolan said about Trump is 1000000000% true and I applaud her for saying it.
I wanted to make that clear before I point out the CLEAR hypocrisy in ESPN’s dealing with this comment as opposed to this 10000000% true comment from Jemele Hill.
Donald Trump is a white supremacist who has largely surrounded himself w/ other white supremacists.

ESPN has come out strong publicly in saying they aren’t a political network and political views should be kept to yourself. They have also said that if you work for ESPN, you represent them wherever you go. It is possible that ESPN handled this behind the scenes, but there is a bigger issue at hand.
They publicly threw Jemele Hill under the bus, they didn’t do that to Nolan. Maybe they learned their lesson or maybe there are different rules for different people.
If that was Cari Champion or Michael Smith who called Trump a fucking stupid person, would ESPN’s reaction to that be the same as when Nolan said it?
Only they know the answer to that, but their history shows that it would have been handled a lot differently. That hypocrisy is what Trump keeps winning, and equality keeps losing.
UPDATE:
ESPN finally made a statement.
“We have looked into the totality of Nolan’s comments, they were inappropriate and we have addressed it with her.”
ESPN punished Nolan by giving her a plum assignment for NFL Wildcard Weekend, so that will teach her.
