Dwayne Bowe, that name rings a bell, doesn’t it? Last time we saw Bowe was in 2015 when he played for the Cleveland Browns. He had more productive years before that but just never lived up to the hype.
Recently TMZ ran into Bowe, he heard news about the XFL relaunching in 2020 and as one can imagine he definitely wants his opportunity to get back on the field.
At 33 years old can he really become a solid receiver in the XFL? The answer is probably.
Bowe said,
“I’d definitely do the XFL … if the money’s right I’d definitely do it.”
There’s just one issue with him attempting his comeback. Vince has said, he won’t hire anyone with any sort of criminality associated with them whatsoever.
In Bowe’s case, he was arrested for possession of marijuana back in 2015 which would mean he’s not going to get that opportunity to lace them up in the XFL.
The weed charge was later thrown out as Bowe paid $610 in fines and court cost.
Vince what’s your move, are you willing to make an exception for your league come 2020…
