In terms of having their star players healthy this season, the Toronto Raptors were probably one of the healthiest teams in the league up until Monday night after Kyle Lowry went down with a very scary back injury.
Lowry who has played in all 38 games for the Raptors this season suffered the injury as he landed hard on his back per Uproxx’s Robby Kalland on an attempted rebound.
The Raptors point guard stayed down while trainers looked on, he then got up and attempted to walk on his own but didn’t manage and laid down yet again on the court floor. Teammates Jonas Valanciunas and Lucas Noguiera picked Lowry up and to carried him off the court.
Right now there isn’t an update on Lowry’s status. However, Lowry did have a message for reporters as he was wheeled out of the arena.
“x-ray on my a**.”
