James’ purpose in building the I Promise School was to help students who are falling behind in their education receive the help they need. The school was originally approved by the city of Akron’s school board back in November.
With the rise of the I Promise School, James continues to serve as the perfect role model for the state of Ohio, the NBA, and fans worldwide.
