After social media took Swedish clothier H&M to task for posting a racially insensitive ad of a young black boy wearing a hoodie that read “Coolest Monkey in the Jungle,” singer The Weeknd says he’s severing ties with the company.
On Monday, the Weeknd tweeted that his relationship with the company is over after seeing the ad.

The Weeknd began working with the company in September 2017 creating his own 18-piece collection entitled “Selected by the Weeknd.” The company has yet to issue an official apology.
