Vikings Fans Donates To Saints punter Thomas Morstead Charity; Find Out Amazing Reason Why

While we all can agree that the 2017 NFL season has been… interesting, there are some silver linings such as fans doing amazing things in the name of their team winning games.

First it was Andy Dalton receiving over $400k worth of donations from Bills fans, after he knocked off the Baltimore Ravens to give the Bills their first playoff berth since 1999. Now, Viking fans decided to take a page out of their book and bless Saints punter, Thomas Morstead.

According to ESPN, the idea started on Reddit when a Vikings fan suggested donating to Morstead’s charity out of respect for the wat he played through a torn cartilage in his rib. Word caught on and donations began to grow through the weekend leading to Morstead returning to Minnesota to deliver the funds to their Child Life Program,

“I mean, that is incredible. I’m totally blown away. I will book my flights tonight. I will be there the week of the Super Bowl,” Morstead said in a video thank-you message on Twitter. “You guys should all be proud of yourselves. That’s a group effort, and it’s gonna affect everyone in your community in a positive way. And I’m just totally humbled by this.

“I may be forced to root for you guys all the way through the Super Bowl now. I’m just totally blown away. Thank you very much. And Who Dat!”

Hopefully, Morstead documents his trip back to Minnesota to show that even though the Saints lost, there is something bigger at play here, giving a helping hand to everyone and ensuring we ALL win.
