The 11th overall pick in the 2017 NBA draft is making headlines for all the wrong reasons.
According to TMZ reports, Malik Monk was involved in a car accident on Sunday and was cited for careless driving. According to the police report TMZ also acquired, Monk drove his 2002 Lexus into gate close to the University of Arkansas campus.
No license, driving as if he had no sense, the police handed over a citation for his actions. Monk told police,
“I was driving, looked down for a second then I just hit a bump. Happened fast.”
Monk has had a tough year trying to implement himself to the NBA, maybe he can turn this negative into a positive and be the scorer he was while in college at Kentucky.
