The NCAA has ruled that Louisville Cardinals are no longer 2013 Champions. The University Men’s basketball team has been in complete disarray after allegations were made public by an escort, Katrina Powell. Powell wrote a “tell-all” book alleging that she and an abundance of dancers were hired to perform sexual acts on recruits. These accusations resulted in the Louisville Cardinals being found guilty on some violations over the 2011-15 seasons.
Former Louisville basketball star, Kevin Ware took a moment to speak about his disappointment in the NCAA decision.
” …At the end of the day, the stuff that happened in the past from a person whose, not even a player, shouldn’t affect players that were actually playing in that game.”
– Kevin Ware, TMZ Sports
The Ex-Cardinal guard expressed having a hard time to find the words to convey his feelings towards the history shifting decision, but definitely didn’t fail to mention that “Fat Ass Ring.”

Although Kevin Ware suffered that season-ending injury during the 2013 tourney, he stands by his teammates and Cardinal family. The removal of this title doesn’t change the fact that Louisville went on to beat their competitors, and crowned 2013 NCAA Champions.
