Super Bowl 52 is finally here as the Patriots and Eagles get ready to face off in Minneapolis. New England is highly favored as QB Nick Foles and the Eagles will look to earn Philly the upset.
The city of Philadelphia is preparing to handle any chaos coming its way in the city should the Eagles win it all. According to Fox 29 in Philadelphia, police are planning to place gear oil all over street poles in the city. This comes after abondoning the original plan of putting Crisco on the poles. The gear oil will be used to prevent fans from climbing the poles due to a possible celebration of a Super Bowl win.
The Eagles have yet to bring a Super Bowl championship to Philadelphia but an upset over the Pats tonight could be the start of something special over the next few years as QB Carson Wentz should be healthy at the start of next season.
