These last few weeks, the Cleveland Cavaliers have gone from potentially being the Eastern Conference representatives in the NBA Finals to perhaps not making it out of the first rounds due to their ongoing drama on and off-court.
The Cavaliers suffered what is arguably the worst defeat of the season to the Orlando Magic, a game where they lead by twenty-one points yet lost it by eighteen points, only scoring nine points in the 4th quarter per Robby Kalland.
Dwyane Wade gave a couple of reasons for why the Cavalier are falling apart and stated that nobody is coming to save them.
“Nobody’s coming to save us,” Wade said. “It’s not the coaches’ fault. It’s the players’. We gotta own it. All of us. When we get opportunities, we all gotta do our job. We recognize that.”
It’s hard to disagree with Dwyane Wade, who spoke like a true veteran. The Cavaliers are going to have to figure a way to get out of this slump or else a first-round playoff elimination won’t be too far fetched.
