A Texas man was arrested on Friday after confessing he choked his fiancée’s sister to death.
KHOU 11 in Houston reports that Jason Farmer was charged with manslaughter in the death of Angela Montante, his fiancee’s sister. Police became aware of the crime after receiving a call from his fiancée stating he wanted to confess something.
According to the Houston Chronicle Farmer told authorities that he and Motante checked into an American Inn and Suites Motel to have sex. During the course of their interaction, Farmer says he choked her but stopped when she began to panic. He goes on to say that she “freak out” until her body eventually went limp. She was dead a few minutes later.
When authorities arrived at the scene, they found Motante’s body was found wrapped in a blanket.
Court documents state that Farmer, a registered sex offender, was already out on $200,000 bond on a pending 2015 sexual assault case where he is facing charges of sex abuse of a child and indecency with a child.
Farmer also served three years for aggravated sexual assault in 2009.
