Amy Yu, 16, has gone missing and NY Post reports that her abductor is a 45-year old man she listed as her stepfather.
Yu was reported missing February 9 when her mother went to pick her up from Lehugh Valley Academy in Bethlehem Pennsylvania. The school workers said she left with her stepfather but she told the workers she is a single mother according to ABC News.
The man, Kevin Esterly, is a family friend as the two families met at church and even had dinner together. Yu’s mother discovered Amy’s passport was missing and romantic text messages between Esterly and her daughter.
John, her younger brother, told WFMZ that they need her to come back.
