Sister Jean on Loyola Chicago “Breaking Her Bracket” and Advancing to Elite 8 (Video)

Sister Jean Dolores Schmidt, the Team Chaplan for Loyola Chicago, had the Ramblers falling in the Sweet 16 in her bracket.  Similar to 99.99% of bracket challenge players throughout the country, the Ramblers have thrown a wrench into her projections.

Late game heroics from guard Marques Towns gave the Ramblers the edge, as they staved off a fierce Nevada team 69-68.  Loyola Chicago is on the doorstep of the Final Four as they await the winner of Kentucky and Kansas State. The spirit of March runs through the veins of Loyola Chicago.

Sister Jean, the marveling inspiration behind an improbable Elite 8 run, is 98 years young and speaks with clarity uncommon for a person her age.  She joined CBS Sports in the postgame to discuss her message to the Ramblers as well as the excitement circulating the program.
