They didn’t come back…
Life comes at you fast.
That being said, March is Problem Gambling Awareness Month, so wherever this man is, we all hope he finds the help that he so clearly needs.
UMBC shocked the world tonight, busted everybody’s brackets, and solidified its place in the history books, by becoming the first 16 seed in 136 tries to defeat a #1 seeded team in the opening round of March Madness.
Let that record sink in for a moment: 1-135.
Plus, it wasn’t just any #1 seed either. UMBC had the audacity to beat the #1 overall seed in the entire tournament by 20 points.
Similarly, Virginia likely punched its ticket for the most embarrassing Wikipedia page of all-time from here on out. There’s no debate. Jalen Rose and Chris Webber might actually get together and play nice after this game for once.
William Hill U.S. also took some action on the UMBC Retrievers’ side too. Flip the page to see some more crazy bet tickets.
