After months of speculation, ESPN has provided a name and launch date for their streaming service that will provide users access to thousands of live sporting events at the cost of $4.99 per month.
On April 12, ESPN+ will launch, offering live sporting events ranging from MLB to rugby and cricket. As mentioned above, the service will cost $4.99 per month with a $49.99 yearly subscription option.
In addition to MLB, NHL, MLS, PGA Tour golf, Top Rank boxing, and tennis; rugby, cricket, and a wide variety of college sports will also be offered.
MLB.TV and NHL.TV out of market packages can be added on for an additional $24.99 per month. A PGA Tour Live subscription is included in the standard $4.99/month plan as well as the full MLS Live out of market package.
